iCALM DAY 1: onto the mesoscale!

ACAM hosted the first day of ICALM 2024 organised by Flanders BioImaging. Prof. Winnok De Vos, dr. Bob Asselbergh and prof. Pieter Vanden Berghe discussed the theory, potential applications and advantages/disadvantages of ligh sheet microscopy, expansion microscopy and non-linear optical imaging respectively. The on-site demonstration sessions in the afternoon, provided insight into the theoretical principles of the different techniques that are all about visualising big samples with microscopic detail and controllably expanding samples to achieve even better resolution.
