Flanders BioImaging, the interuniversity research consortium dedicated to biomedical imaging and advanced light microscopy, has received 4.3M Euro of funding in the recent International Research Infrastructure call of Research Foundation Flanders - FWO.
As a longstanding partner of this consortium, the University of Antwerp will contribute to the acceleration of technological developments, to raise the efficiency of imaging infrastructure exploitation and to consolidate the leading international position of Flanders in bio-imaging.
With this grant, Flanders BioImaging can also participate in Euro-BioImaging, a landmark European Research Infrastructure Consortium for biological and biomedical imaging.
